Implementing Switched-Adapted and 3D Printing Devices for People Battle Environmental Barriers Due to Upper Extremity Motor Impairments
This research aims to create an efficient and practical protocol for the application of 3D printed and switch-adapted devices in common home environmental modifications. The hypotheses are that employment of the developed protocol will increase the client’s level of independence and effectively streamline the practical use of 3D printed and switch-adapted devices for any home environment.

Bal-A-Vis-X has proven to be an efficient and effective program, specifically when implemented in schools. Bal-A-Vis-X allows teachers trained in this program.

The overall design is not accessible to most due to the small pathway dimensions and lack of safety precautions. Therefore not accessible to people with disabilities.
